Our three open days have come to a close after attracting a large public.
This year's initiative was part of a national event promoted by Federalimentare (Food Federation) and entitled 'Apertamente, l'industria alimentare apre le porte al pubblico' (Openly, the Food Industry opens its doors to the public). Between Thursday 25 and Saturday 27 May, two hundred people visited our production plant on via Granarolo 102: an extraordinary turnout, considering that no more than 20 visitors could access the site in any given time slot.
The response was indeed very positive. The visitors, mostly from Faenza, could see for themselves the dedication and passion that goes into the work carried out at such a big and historic company as Tampieri spa, as well as the 'green' culture characterizing Tampieri energie, one of the largest solid biomass plants in Italy which supplies electricity to about 70,000 households.
"It was wonderful to share the experience with our guests. It allowed us to perceive their amazement at finding out what we do and how we do it. We also had the chance of receiving their remarks and suggestions", is the unanimous comment made by all the members of the Tampieri family.
"Thank you for the lovely visit to your plants. It is harder and harder to find structured companies that generate profits and reinvest them in our region, thus creating stable jobs for employees and others alike. Best wishes to the owners who are so determined to carry on and further develop their business".
"What struck us was the great passion for their work that brings together the people in this company. Special thanks to our kind and knowledgeable guides".
"Thanks a lot for the visit. A part of our town that unfortunately few people know. Great initiative, worth repeating next year".
These are just a few messages that encourage us to organize more frequently this type of initiatives open to all.
